There will be 2 inclusion-related roundtables on Monday, June 15th hosted by Brenda Anderson Wadley, HECMA Director of Training and Development (training@hecma.org), and Sean Joy, Director of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (diversity@hecma.org). HECMA 2020 White Anti-Racism Roundtable

  • This is a space geared towards white HECMA members to begin critical dialogue and begin the work we need to do to understand how our whiteness and privileges influence our roles. This is a short amount of time, but we hope to begin to have brave conversations and work towards Anti-Racism. Framework and understanding will be adapted from multiple anti-racism scholars, especially by the work of Dr. Kathy Obear.
